About Denise Murphy

I have devoted my professional career to helping employers in Massachusetts and around the United States prevent and, if necessary, defend claims and cases arising from workplace disputes. My first priority is to make sure that my clients avoid trouble by being in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, and by training managers and employees to stop discrimination and harassment before they happen.

Sometimes claims arise, even under the best managers. I also help with that, defending claims that have no merit, and sometimes helping settle the claims which do.

I also enjoy working with both employers and executives on executive compensation packages, severance issues, and issues arising from covenants to not compete.

My law practice has several clients who have been with me for over a decade. The reasons: I help my clients in a way that helps avoid problems in the first place. And if a problem arises, my clients know I will stand behind them and help them win.  As a partner at Rubin and Rudman, LLP, I enjoy the support of lawyers from every type of practice, and a dedicated and experienced staff.
